Sweet Emma Arlene

Emma Arlene was born March 26th 2003 to Derrick Michael and Alexia Lynn in Boise, ID. Emma is a girl that can always make her daddy smile. Her favorites include waffles, chocolate milk and anything that makes her louder / faster.

I spent weeks with Emma after her birth, barely allowing anyone else to touch her. She is my little angel and I couldnt let go. Daddy themed her first birthday in Kennewick, WA as a garden theme, with daisies and bumblebees. She was very reserved with her cake and dad had to help her dig in. Ever since then, you cant keep her away from sugars.

Before the lockout, Emma enjoyed sitting on the couch watching Detroit Red Wings games with Brother and Daddy. She also LOVES spending time with her puppy, Hasek. Emma and Hasek had an interesting relationship growing up together. She would trade food from her high chair in exchange for ladder services. Hasek would lay in front of the couch or table and allow her to scale up him for a boost.

Emma and I have a very strong bond together and its been really hard not being with her the last few months. I will see her in the next couple weeks and I am very excited about it. Also, I am planning on having her stay with me at the end of August for a period of time. I am really looking forward to that.
